I can only import a picture or image before I fill in the background color. I try to click on the image and drag it into a rectangle that’s got background color. No luck. What am I doing wrong?
I’ve read all your manuals, but find nothing about the right way to get that image on screen surrounded by a rectangle or template and background color, let alone getting the text in.

Please advise
1. correct way to get the image in GIMP
2. correct way to get text in rectangle with image in GIMP
